An anda token is a new cryptocurrency. You can acquire anda tokens when you deposit funds to your anda Debit Account and when you refer a friend.
The more deposits you make, the more tokens you can earn. For your first $100 deposit, you’ll earn 100 tokens. After, deposits over $250 will earn you 5 tokens, $500 will earn you 12 tokens and $1000 will earn you 36.
You can also earn 50 tokens when you refer a friend and they sign up for an anda account and they deposit $100 or more. Your friend will also get rewarded with 100 tokens for that initial deposit.
Earned tokens can be staked. Staking is similar to, but not the same as, saving. Similar to a savings account, the tokens sitting in the staking wallet will generate a 5% reward on the $USDC value. Your rewards will be paid out in weekly intervals. Go to the XX screen in your app to find the current $ANDA to $USDC value.
If you’ve incurred ATM or card replacement fees, you can redeem your anda tokens for the equivalent amount of the fee in $USDC.
anda tokens are only available to anda Account customers. In the future, the anda token will be available for purchase on various cryptocurrency exchanges.
How can I withdraw cash from my account?
Some merchants may place a hold (pre-authorization) on your account for an amount because they may not know the final transaction amount. Because of this, when you pay for gas at the pump up to $100 will be placed on hold in your account and when renting a car or staying at a hotel an additional 20% will be placed on hold in your account. This is a way of reserving those funds in your account for the debit card purchase. Most holds are removed automatically when the actual transaction posts to your account – usually within one to three days depending on the merchant. In the event a hold is not removed automatically when the transaction posts, it will automatically drop off 7 days from the time of the original transaction, except rental cars and hotels that will automatically drop off after 30 days. Typically, gas stations, hotels, and rental car/truck companies may obtain multiple pre-authorizations on your account for a single transaction, resulting in varied holds against the available balance in your account. If you do use your anda Visa Debit card for these kinds of transactions, understand that you are risking temporarily locking up some of your funds.
